Registry

SDIBP operates a “registry” for independent business that provides a sophisticated classification system so that potential customers can discover and learn more about your business or practice and potential partners or collaborators can more easily find each other. There are two parts to this registry:

  1. Member Registry. This registry provides a profile for individual members that allows you to classify your business interests by industry and keyword tags. It also allows for a small profile picture and general location through a zip code for future partner matching services, as well as information to allow other members to contact you such as your email and phone number.
  2. Business Registry. This registry provides a profile for companies and other organizations that allows classification by the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) as well as specialized keyword tags, size and location of business and other parameters. This information is published in the “San Diego Independent Business Directory” with all listings fully under the control of the member who owns that listing.
